Our Training Philosophy

At Psychodrama NJ, we believe that effective clinical work begins with a solid foundation of professional self-care and ethical practice. Our trainings emphasize not only the development of psychodramatic and trauma-informed skills but also the importance of nurturing personal and professional well-being. Participants leave with new tools, deeper insights, and strengthened practices to sustain long-term professional growth.

Professional Community & Collaboration

Our learning events foster strong professional connections, recognizing the value of collaboration with allied peers across disciplines. We welcome students and professionals from social work, psychology, counseling, education, drama, creative arts, human services, addictions, nursing, psychiatry, law, and more. Some participants pursue board certification in psychodrama, while others attend for advanced training, continuing education, or the joy of learning.

Why Psychodrama Training?

Professionals trained in psychodrama help their clients address challenges in creative, action-oriented ways that lead to meaningful change. Psychodrama theory and methods are highly adaptable and applied effectively in clinical, educational, and organizational settings with groups, families, couples, and individuals.
