Lead Therapist, Approved Clinical Supervisor

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities discover and cultivate their strengths, especially in times of trauma and crisis. Since earning my Master of Social Work from Hunter College in 1999, I’ve gained valuable experience across various settings, deepening my expertise in trauma, prevention, and resilience-building. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I meet clients where they are, guiding them through challenging transitions. Drawing from my extensive training in psychodrama, mindfulness, EFT, Imago couples therapy, and hypnosis, I support clients in developing self-awareness, healing, and growth.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, families, and communities recognize and grow their strengths, particularly in times of trauma and crisis. After earning my Master of Social Work from Hunter College in 1999, I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings that have deepened my expertise in trauma, prevention, and resilience-building.

Over the years, I’ve worked with organizations like the Goodhue Mental Health Clinic, The Children’s Aid Society, and Barnabas Health, where I supported children and families impacted by natural disasters and events like 9/11. My journey has been guided by a commitment to meet people where they are, helping them navigate through difficult transitions with compassion and empathy.

In addition to my work at Psychodrama NJ, I’m proud to be a part of the Transformational Counseling Program at Mary’s Place by the Sea. Volunteering a range of therapeutic services, from individual one-time counseling sessions to ongoing support and group therapy, at no cost to women battling cancer. Through my work with Mary's Place by the Sea, I have the opportunity to provide a space for these women to process the emotional aspects of their journey, offering validation, hope, and tangible skills to support their healing. I've recently started aCare for the Caregiver group at psychodrama nj
Being a caregiver can be an overwhelming responsibility, and it’s easy to forget about your own well-being in the process. This therapeutic support group is specifically for anyone in a caregiving role, whether part-time or full-time, for a family member or friend.
Our sessions focus on two essential elements for preventing caregiver burnout: connection and self-care. Through a combination of psychodrama, mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and other therapeutic interventions, we offer the tools, support, and understanding caregivers need to care for themselves as they care for others.
