About the event

Rooted Connection:

A Compassionate Space for Grief to be Witnessed

Dates: Saturday, March 28, April 4, and April 11, 2026

Time: 10am-1pm

Location: Psychodrama NJ, Oakhurst, NJ

Cost: $400 total (for all three group offerings)

This 3 part offering is designed for therapists and allied helpers who are experiencing grief related to personal or community losses; including social unrest, the loss of shared belief systems, lost sense of safety in the world, ancestral grief, environmental grief, spiritual grief, or other forms of disenfranchised losses.

Helpers often carry unique and particularly tender pangs of grief. As witnesses to others’ suffering, holders of stories, and steady supports in times of crisis, therapists and allied helpers frequently move toward pain while setting aside their own. The cumulative weight of holding space for others, especially in times of collective trauma and social unrest, can take a toll.

This supportive group will provide a compassionate space to honor grief — to be seen, heard, and held in community — while being supported by the wisdom of herbs.

Together, Kim and Patricia will offer embodied practices including psychodrama, herbal support, ritual, mindful movement, and relaxation to nurture self-care, resilience, and strengthen community connection.

Dates: Saturday March 28, April 4, and April 11, 2026

Time: 10am-1pm

Location: Psychodrama NJ, Oakhurst, NJ

Cost: $400 total
